Alan Phuong
Program Assistant, Canada Climate Law Initiative
Alan Phuong is the Program Assistant for the Canada Climate Law Initiative’s micro-certificate program. He works alongside Sonia Li Trottier, the CCLI Director and Alison Schneider, the program’s instructor. Alan assists with the planning, development, and coordination of the micro-certificate program and its activities. He helps facilitate clear communication between the students enrolled in the program, largely senior professionals, and the instructor.
Alan is currently a first-year law student at the Allard School of Law, and is additionally involved as the Finance Director of the Law Student Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) where he works with stakeholders to ensure LSLAP has adequate funding sources. Alan holds a BA in Political Science and Chinese Language from the University of British Columbia.
