Alison Schneider is a Former VP of Responsible Investing at AIMCo. AIMCo is consistently recognized as a top performer by UNPRI, as a Top 25 global asset allocator by New Americas (RAAI) and is a 2019 International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) award finalist.
Alison is a co-founder of GRESB Infrastructure, chairs its advisory board and co-chairs the Shareholder Responsibility committee at ICGN. She sits on committees for PRI, CCGG, PIAC, RealPAC, SASB, and the G7 Investor Leadership Network. Alison is a recipient of the Clean50 Award (2019), published author (The New Frontiers of Sovereign Investment, Columbia University Press, 2017) and co-author of an investor guidance on TCFD Implementation (2019); ICGN Guidance on Fiduciary Duty (2018) and Guidance on Diversity (2016).
Alison regularly presents at business forums and for the Institute of Corporate Directors. Alison founded the Net Impact Edmonton professional chapter (2011), is past-president of the Junior League of Edmonton (2005) and taught board governance to NFP’s (Alberta Culture & Community Spirit BDP Program (2007-2010.)
