Jennifer Longhurst is a Partner of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP practicing in the M&A, Capital Markets, Corporate/Securities, Corporate Governance, Finance and Mining groups. Jennifer advises acquirers, targets, investors and boards on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, private equity matters, corporate governance, and shareholder activism and engagement. A trusted adviser to public and private companies in Canada and internationally, Jennifer regularly counsels on strategic transactions, M&A, corporate/securities laws and public reporting.
Jennifer teaches the corporate transactions course at Osgoode Hall Law School’s Professional Development LLM program. Jennifer has been recognized by Lexpert as a Leading Canadian Lawyer in Global Mining and has received a Lexpert Zenith Award for Mid-Career Excellence in M&A. She is a regular advisor, industry speaker and author of numerous publications on a wide range of corporate governance, ESG, securities law and shareholder activism topics.
