Radha Curpen is Vice Chair, National Leader for ESG Strategy and Solutions, and Co-Head of the Environmental Law practice at Bennett Jones LLP. She served as the firm’s Vancouver Managing Partner from 2016-24. She is a preeminent legal expert and thought leader in climate change, ESG, environmental, governance, regulatory, aboriginal relations and diversity & inclusion for the energy, infrastructure and other industrial and natural resource sectors.

Fluent in both French and English, Radha regularly advises corporations, boards of directors, governmental and regulatory agencies, special committees and Indigenous communities in Canada and around the world on a wide range of commercial transactions and litigation. She advises on renewable projects, the energy transition, environmental and impact assessments, partnerships with Indigenous communities and crisis prevention and management.

Radha is an experienced corporate director and is a member of the Business Council of British Columbia’s Board of Governors and of Innergex Renewable Energy’s board of directors. She is the immediate past chair of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and is on the Board’s Council of Governors. She is a member of the ESG Advisory Council to B.C.’s Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation, and a former member of the province’s ESG Advisory Council to the Minister of Finance. Radha was also a member of the Canadian Association of Pension Supervisory Authorities’ ESG Industry Working Group.
