The Canada Climate Law Initiative (CCLI), a Climate Engagement Canada (CEC) research and education collaborator, invites you to a webinar to discuss the Canadian and international legislation space, with a focus on climate-related financial disclosures and net-zero regulations at the federal level.

During this webinar, Dr. Janis Sarra will compare Canada’s proposed National Instrument 51-107 with proposed US SEC rules and the new ISSB standards. She will also discuss how net-zero regulations such as the Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act and the 2030 Emission Reduction Plan may affect companies in which you invest and how they may present opportunities. As Canada is catching up with the rest of the world and sustainability reporting is converging, this webinar will allow you to map out the different aspects of Canadian and international legislation, and how to stay ahead.
