Alison Schneider
Sustainable Finance Practitioner
Alison is a sustainable finance practitioner and consultant with a proven track record of success. Alison co-designed and instructs CCLI’s climate risk micro-certificate. She is the Canadian Representative for Ceres Investor Network and sits on the steering committee for Climate Engagement Canada. Alison is also a Senior Fellow for GRESB, and a Director with Emerging Markets Investor Alliance. She also teaches sustainable finance in the University of Alberta’s MBA program.
Alison was previously Vice-President, Responsible Investment (RI) at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (2011-2022) and established and led a world class RI program and team. Alison is a co-founder of GRESB Infrastructure (2015) and of Climate Engagement Canada (2022). Alison was awarded Canada’s Clean50 award (2021, 2020), & the University of Alberta Alumni Honour Award (2022) for her contributions to the field of RI and is a published author.
