Michel Brutti is an experienced Investment Professional with a demonstrated history of strong performance working in the investment management industry. He has managed investments for financial institutions as well as private family offices.
Up until recently, Michel was a Senior Partner and portfolio manager at Jarislowsky Fraser, where he served as a member of the firm’s Sustainable Investment Committee, promoting the Principles of Responsible Investing. He joined the research team in November 1994 and has managed the firm’s Global and International Equity portfolios for over 20 years. Before joining Jarislowsky Fraser, Michel worked for Global Strategy Financial, a pioneering Canadian company affiliated with N.M. Rothschild, dedicated to international equity and bond funds.
Michel is a board member and sits on the Audit Committee of the Fonds d’action québécois pour le développement durable. He is also on the Committee of Governmental Policies of the PRI Québec network, as well on the Committee of Responsible Investment at Finance Montréal. Michel is also a member of the Investment Committee of Makivik Corporation, sits on the Investment Committee of the Greater Montréal Climate Fund, and on the Investment Committee of the accelerator Ecofuel.
