Mona Forster

Strategic Consultant, Foran Mining Corporation

Mona Forster is a passionate advocate of the mining and mineral exploration sector with over 30 years of experience in the industry. She is currently consulting to industry clients, providing corporate development and strategic advisory services.

Mona possesses a broad understanding of issues facing the mining industry, gained through experience in mine operations, mineral exploration and engineering and environmental consulting, domestically and internationally. She has a background in strategy development and implementation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and organizational development, corporate due diligence, and project valuation.

She has served on the board advisory council for several industry related organizations, including seven years as an elected director and Chair of the Board for the Association for Mineral Exploration (AME).

Mona was recognized by AME in January 2018 with the Gold Pan Award, given to individuals who have provided exceptional meritorious service to the mineral exploration sector through AME. She currently volunteers as Chair of Women in Mining BC, as Chair of the Innovation Hub for AME Roundup, and as a member of the Advisory Council for Resource Works.
