Suzanne Davis-Hall

Suzanne Davis-Hall is a former VP Sustainability/ESG with 25+ years of mining industry experience, including site-based operations and global corporate roles. She is a firm believer that mining can be a force for good, creating positive outcomes at the local, regional, and global scale.

Suzanne is Founder and Principal of Genesg, a sustainability advisory firm whose mission is to work hand-in-hand with companies, developing and implementing tailored sustainability and ESG strategies that not only meet today’s standards but set the stage for a brighter, fairer and just future.

She has successfully developed and implemented Sustainability/ESG Strategies as well as permitted international mining projects for companies such as Foran Mining, Kinross Gold, The Calgary Airport Authority, Newcrest Mining, and the Federal Government of Australia. Her expertise in sustainability reporting, environmental and social impact assessments, and development of participatory community engagement approaches has been recognized industry wide.

Beyond her corporate roles, Suzanne has contributed as a board member and advisor. Her tenure includes positions with the Sustainable Minerals Institute University of Queensland, the International Society of Sustainability Professionals, and she is currently a Non-Executive Director for Progressive Planet Manufacturing, a cleantech company focusing on developing low-carbon solutions for the cement and agricultural industries.

Suzanne holds an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, and a Bachelor of Science from The Australian National University and the University of Western Australia. She has also completed an executive leadership program from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. She is also a lead systems auditor and an approved Copper Mark Assessor.
